About Ciara-Lucy Forrest
Ciara-Lucy is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist and member of Speech Pathology Australia. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Speech and Language Studies from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, in 2011.
Working with clients across the lifespan who have a range of communication and mealtimes needs, her professional interests lay in the areas of:
Developmental, motor and acquired speech delays and disorders
Developmental and acquired language delays and disorders
Dysphagia and swallowing difficulties, including mealtime support
Orofacial myofunctional therapy
Complex communication needs
Ciara-Lucy has worked across a variety of public and private settings including the Department of Health, the Department of Education, as a clinical supervisor, senior, and line manager for large disability organisations providing support to individuals with speech, language, mealtimes, and behaviour support needs, and as a behaviour support practitioner and Augmentative and Alternative Communication consultant for statewide and national companies.
Ciara-Lucy is passionate about supporting clinicians to develop their skills to become confident with all aspects of their service delivery.
